Job description

The role of eCommerce Product Owner will be focused on further developing our e-commerce platform. In this role you will be responsible for increasing the exposure and usage of the platform with our key channels (e-commerce, partner network), using your commercial insights and influencing key internal & external stakeholders in order to successfully manage the distribution strategy.

By making the right decisions on functionalities to develop, channels to capitalise and using your insights and previous experience you will identify new opportunities, services and partners.  Working closely with the channel manager(s) you will share your knowledge to facilitate their success.  The eCommerce Product Owner will be responsible for developing their long term business plan to detail how the e-commerce platform can further support the growth and development of our business.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) located at the Atradius headquarters in Amsterdam.

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall distribution strategy of our e-commerce platform.
    You will take the lead in managing the different distribution channels, and prioritising and allocating appropriate time and resource linked to bottom line revenue, recognising the capacity of the platform and considering the budget vs revenue it will bring.

Technical Development of our E-Commerce Platform

  • Manage continued development of E-Commerce Platform
  • Prioritising the requirements of the business, the capacity of the platform and the financial impact in order to support the continuous optimisation of the e-commerce platform.
  • Lead the migration of existing customers onto the platform
  • Implement additional products to be sold through the platform
  • Drive the geographical expansion of the platform through the Atradius Collections locations

Partnership Development

  • Develop e-commerce platform to enable debt placements through internal and external partners
  • Create and devise new (external) services that can be sold through the e-commerce platform
  • Identify new partners with cooperation from countries

Job requirements

  •  Previous relevant experience as a product owner or similar position
  •  Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, with ability to adapt your message for different audiences and to drive your objectives forward.
  • Graduate calibre or equivalent working  experience
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple projects and work well under pressure.
  • Developed ability to achieve deadlines, you must be able to multi-task and be prepared to work occasionally with few guidelines.
  • Results focused individual, with strong co-operation skills, who has the drive and energy to achieve concrete goals

Within this dynamic, results driven and international environment we are looking for a Team Leader to join our business based in our Dublin office. Supervising a small team of collectors you will have overall responsibility for the recovery of monies owed to clients in respect of credit insured transactions, bonds and of uninsured debts placed for collection. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to join us, in this hands-on international environment.

Main responsibilities

  • Reporting into the Operations Team Manager based in the UK, you will be working as part of the UK & Ireland debt collection team, responsible for Recoveries (insured clients) & Collections (uninsured clients).  You will have overall responsibility for managing a portfolio of debts, implementing the agreed processes and systems to achieve desired goals and results.
  • Effective management through people and through use of available data in order to maximise collected amounts and ensure service expectations are met.

Key activities

  • Maintain optimum resource capacity, including flexible resource pool in order to efficiently manage workload. With the ability to recognise where there is a need to adjust capacity, focus or activities in order to meet the requirements of the business and optimise results through effective portfolio management
  • Manage performance within the team to develop desired competence level, providing coaching, support and guidance as appropriate.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and excellence through the proactive introduction of new tools and processes and ways of working within the team.  You will innovate and bring ideas, applying creative thinking in order to drive improvements and implement solutions.
  • Responsible for effective management of the LDC network, ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain excellent communications both verbal and written with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that communication is clear, transparent and timely.
  • Provide pro-active and appropriate updates on Case / Customer / Portfolio level, ensuring co-operation with key internal Atradius stakeholders (such as Claims team, Account Managers)  

 Job requirements

  • Previous experience of people management in a supervisory or team lead capacity, with proven ability to coach, mentor and develop staff
  • Experience working within an Operational function where you demonstrate sound judgement and ability to assess cost effectiveness of your actions. In addition you should have a good understanding of Debt Collections and Legal services to apply your operation experience.
  •  A strong customer focus (internal and external), with the ability to identify, assess and meet the requirements of the customer.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, using your experience to adapt your message to suit different audiences.
  • Strong IT skills in MS office packages, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.  You will have experience working with multiple systems
  • Excellent organisation skills, you will work well under pressure and will have proven experience in prioritisation, and achieving deadlines.
  • A motivated, enthusiastic and solution focussed team player, who will lead by example
  • Willingness to travel internationally for training and projects

As an Associate Collector, you will be responsible for the recovery of monies owed to clients in respect of credit insured transactions, bonds and of uninsured debts placed for collections.

  • Contacting debtors by telephone in order to successfully collect on the debt that they owe.
  • Making follow-up communications a priority to ensure that customers keep their commitments.
  • Owning and maintaining the day to day relationship with client, debtors and 3rd parties  alongside direct debt chasing including negotiation over recommended action
  • Managing case value of EUR 10,000 or below.
  • Improvement of collection processes and results; reduce time to collection; decrease operating expense and/or Schedules reminder calls or escalates process; including a final notification that outlines next step if payment is not received.
  • To assess the cost effectiveness of taking legal action and prepare suitable cases for transfer to the in house legal team or external parties
  • Respond to standard customer queries in a timely manner

In addition to the relevant experience in debt collections preferably within the business to business environment, the ideal candidate will have the following skill profile:

As a Client Relations Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for the customer and will be actively involved in the management of customer portfolios. You will be responsible for revenue generation, risk management and will act as a key customer interface for the Company.

In this position your key accountabilities will be to:

  • Develop and maintain a meaningful long term partnership with Atradius Credit Insurance Key Stakeholders within the local offices to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service delivery.

  • On an ad-hoc basis be required to present to and visit both Atradius Credit Insurance Customers as well as Intermediaries and Brokers
  • Communicate new product / service developments to key client base.
  • Be actively involved in prospecting network events.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
