Job description

This ambitious and challenging role is responsible for managing our Global Account Management Strategy. A key member of the Atradius Collections Leadership Team, this role reports into the Executive Manager -Commercial and will be responsible for developing and monitoring a coherent and consistent Account Management action plan aligned with the overall Commercial go-to-market approach and owning the global customer base.  In addition, working in close co-operation with the Regional Managers, Global Program Managers and Account Managers worldwide, responsibilities will include:

Global Program

Organizing functional programs, goals and strategic activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization and to drive forward our global Account Management strategy

  • Analysing and adapting new account management strategies to react to changing business trends to ensure best-in-class Account Management processes, tools and systems are in place.
  • Ensuring implementation of agreed service levels through co-operation with the other functional departments within Atradius in order to exceed customer expectations and retain and grow our customer base
  • Facilitating easy and transparent communications regarding project issues and decisions on services and able to make change last.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
  • Working as part of a team with other Global Program Managers in order to define and implement an effective Global Team strategy
  • Managing key commercial projects that enable efficiencies and effectiveness; driving consistency and delivery across the globe

Strategic Account Management

Advising and providing support to our Senior Strategic Sales team by:

  • Owning and managing our strategic account base with responsibility for ensuring a consistent service delivery to our strategic accounts worldwide.
  • Analysing clients’ processes in order to determine the right solution for our customers and our business.
  • Recognising, adapting and matching the work process and pricing of accounts to ensure we are successfully servicing our clients with current requirements and capabilities.
  • Advising and monitoring the implementations of our new Strategic accounts with the local countries/Regions
  • Supporting on the technical configurations and set up
  • Effective development of existing Strategic accounts, using your knowledge of the customer(s) to increase the in-house share of total overdue debt allocated to Collections and to proactively cross sell opportunities within the overall business.
  • Understanding and analysing the external market in order to provide management with feedback and inform our strategic direction.

Global Account Management

Developing and monitoring the worldwide Account servicing model together with the Marketing Customer Experience team to contribute to the overall financial results by:

  • Implementing best-in-class Account Management processes, tools and systems to retain our customers and exceed their expectations.
  • Delivering a Service Model for existing customers segments and related buying behaviour, including Service Level Agreements.
  • Provide strategic leadership to our team of Regional Account Management co-ordinators and leverage our existing Regional Manager framework to ensure strategic alignment at the global level as well as local innovation and focus
  • Actively encourage the team to develop their specialist skills and knowledge so that they can deliver exceptional levels of customer service to our clients

 

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in managing Global Accounts, with ability to understand and react to customer needs whilst keeping focus on strategic direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to model superior Customer Service internationally.
  • Proven Commercial and Leadership experience - knowledge of management disciplines including finance human resources, legal and commercial.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage by influence including stakeholders at all levels with a diverse range of skills and experience
  • Managing change by motivating, inspiring, energizing and achieving results through others
  • Experienced in continuous improvement / development; identifying and implementing process improvements and new procedures
  • Ability to improve and maintain relationships with external Key & Global customers in order to identify and anticipate needs, share understandings and exceed customer expectations
  • Experience with CRM applications and knowledge of making effective use of CRM automation to support an effective service delivery.
  • Good knowledge of debt collections product area; what it is, does and how it is delivered to the customer - also how it fits within the customer’s internal processes

  • Willing to travel internationally on a frequent basis and sometimes at short notice (approx.. twice per month)
  • Good analytical and reporting skills

Job description

As an Associate Collector, you will be responsible for the recovery of monies owed to clients in respect of credit insured transactions, bonds and of uninsured debts placed for collections. 

In this position your key responsibilities are:

  • Managing a portfolio of debts, implementing the agreed processes and systems to achieve desired goals and results.
  • Contacting debtors by telephone in order to successfully collect on the debt that they owe.
  • Making follow-up communications a priority to ensure that customers keep their commitments.
  • Owning and maintaining the day to day relationship with client, debtors and 3rd parties  alongside direct debt chasing including negotiation over recommended action
  • Managing case value of EUR 10,000 or below.
  • Improvement of collection processes and results; reduce time to collection; decrease operating expense and/or Schedules reminder calls or escalates process; including a final notification that outlines next step if payment is not received.
  • To assess the cost effectiveness of taking legal action and prepare suitable cases for transfer to the in house legal team or external parties
  • Respond to standard customer queries in a timely manner

In addition to the relevant experience in debt collections preferably within the business to business environment, the ideal candidate will have the following skill profile:

  • Good understanding and ability to work in a matrix driven cross functional environment.

As a Client Relations Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for the customer and will be actively involved in the management of customer portfolios. You will be responsible for revenue generation, risk management and will act as a key customer interface for the Company.
