Amicable collections

General information

Our collection process is a professional and meticulous process that involves a team of specialists who maintain strong relationships with debtors, ensuring compliance with federal and state law through both verbal and written communication.

In dispute cases, our goal is to find an amicable resolution by analysing all the contractual documents, including the signed contracts, orders, confirmations, invoices, delivery notes, and standard terms, with the help of our legal team and their agreement.

Local agents

We offer direct collection activities managed by a network of selected local agents who visit debtors all over Poland. They can visit debtors at their places of business and report back on their financial situations. The local agents’ network can also help investigate and find untraceable debtors.

Interest

Interest is charged to debtors in both amicable and judicial phases, calculated at 9.5% or 7% or 5% depending on contract stipulations. Approval is required for collecting interest and an interest note may be requested. It's best practice to not add interest after full principal payments.

The Debt Collection Handbook Poland presents a snapshot of Poland's economic situation and covers the following topics:

  • Debt collection costs
  • Prescription
  • Payment methods
  • Types of companies
  • Retention of title
  • Safeguard measures
  • Legal procedures & legal system
  • Enforcement in debt, movable and immovable property
  • Insolvency proceedings
  • Arbitration and mediation
